I’ve mentioned in some descriptions of my work my artistic interests in abnormality. So, sickness and its impact on human experience is one of my interests. I made this work with deep respect and admiration towards this woman and artist who chose, as her artistic topic, among others, to auto-photograph herself in an ancestral, abandoned leprosarium in Chios, Greece. This is while suffering from anorexia. In 2022, the Museum im Lagerhaus, Switzerland, opened the exhibition entitled Human to commemorate this artist and her work. — *In The Leprosarium 9. This portrait is an homage to the women that lost their lives in the hands of Jack the Ripper a couple of centuries ago. Their names, as we may know, are Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly. Welcome to this collection.

What interests me as a creator is abnormality and its impact on human life. I make my work with deep respect towards the women on which I make my studies.

In this collection, I interpret and portray historical females; some renowned characters, others anonymous, but all of their biographies called my attention as an artist and as a woman. I treat most of these creations with drama. This means that, in every work, I try to grasp the character's frantic condition and beauty.

Art Techniques

The techniques I use are traditional (oil and acrylic, crayon, pencil, clay sculpting, etc.) and digital painting (digital tablet, Photoshop, 3D sculpture, etc.).
